Azure Remote Desktop is available through Remote Desktop App preinstalled on your company's laptop or through web browser
Option 1 - Access through Remote Desktop application
First time user set up
On Windows 10, click the “Start” menu and run the “Remote Desktop” application.
For the first time only, click the “Subscribe” button and log on using standard LTG email address and password.
If you don’t have dual screens set up at home or not interested on dual screen remote access, skip this step. Otherwise, right click on the “LTG” and select “Settings”.
Switch off “User default Settings” and enable “All displays” under Display Configuration.
Double click on the “LTG” button.
Log on using standard LTG password.
For the very first time only upon logging on to new remote, sign out (of the remote), 30 seconds after you log in, without opening any applications. Don’t forget this step as Mitel Connect and Travel Hub have a high chance not to work.
Daily run
On Windows 10, click the “Start” menu and run the “LTG (LuxuryTravelGroup)” application.
Log on using standard LTG password.
At this point the platform will check and serve you the best remote server to log on to, based on existing servers’ capacity/loads.
Sign out when finished with remote access
Option 2 - Access through web browser
On your internet ready computer at home, go to Edge browser (it should work on other browsers too).
Type https://client.wvd.microsoft.com/arm/webclient/index.html to the address bar and press enter
If prompted, log on as normal using standard LTG email address and password
it is Multi-Factor Authentication enabled, so if you get the prompt enter it as well.
Click on the icon “LTG”
If you don’t see the “LTG” icon and the page keeps loading for 30+ seconds, press F5 to refresh the page.
If you see this below, tick “Don’t ask me again….”, and then “Allow”
At this point the platform will check and serve you the best remote server to log on to, based on existing servers’ capacity/loads.
Log on as normal with email address and password when prompted.
For the very first time only upon logging on to new remote, sign out (of the remote) 30 seconds after you log in, without opening any applications. Don’t forget this step as Mitel Connect and Travel Hub have a high chance not to work.
Log back in and start using the new remote access platform.
Use full screen options as per red circles below as you see fit.
In effect the remote is a tab on your browser (you cannot use dual screen remote with this option, use Option 2 instead).
You can make the browser itself larger
or you can pin/unpin the “navigation bar” to increase screen real estate
or Enter Full Screen
Sign out when finished with remote access
Sign out of the remote when finished with remote access
When finished with remote access, first closed all your open applications inside the remote and then sign out (of the remote).
You do this while inside the remote, by clicking on “Start Menu -> your name/picture -> Sign out”.
